The Income & Expense Report allows Advisors to review the sources of income and expenses in their clients' portfolio in order to communicate how their investment strategy generates passive income for their clients.
The report, which can be generated for a Household, Group, or individual Account in a given time period, contains two main sections:

The Income section includes all Dividend and Interest transactions

The Expenses section includes all Advisory Fee and Fee transactions
The respective transactions are then summed together to display the total Income and Expenses over the selected time period.
The report can be generated as a stand-alone report in the Report tab or it can be included in any PDF report when generated from a Household, Account, or Group dashboard.

How To Run the Income Report
There are two main flows for running the Income Report.
Report tab on the Advisor Dashboard

From the main Advisor Dashboard, click on the Report tab. In the Generate section, click the “Select A Report…” dropdown and choose the Income Report option:

Depending on whether you are a Firm or Advisor-level user, you’ll select the Initial Context and then select whether you want to generate the report for a Household, Account, or Group.

Then you’ll select the report’s Parameters, which is where you’ll see the Income Report option and each transaction Activity option pre-selected.

Confirm the report parameters, including the desired time period, and then press the Generate button.
Any Household, Account, or Group Dashboard

From any Household, Account, or Group Dashboard, click the Generate Report button the Household/Account/Group Info tile.

From the ‘Select A Report…” dropdown, you’ll see a list of our standard reports; pick any one of those.

In the Select Parameters section, choose the required time period and select the Income checkbox and the desired activity inclusions. Then, generate the report.
